This tour is only given by me... personally since 1998

Growing up and attending school in Lower Manhattan, having many relatives and friends living in Chinatown & little Italy I was well aware of a place known as the Five Points at an early age

Several years before the release of the movie I created a Little Italy/Chinatown tour of the area with a portion of the tour devoted to the Five Points and the associated  history. With the news of Martin Scorsese’s movie being produced I created a totally new tour with the emphasis being  the Five Points.

I incorporate much of my own personal history working with the Mayors Office and running for political office, as well as a very candid view of the crooked politics of the time and how much of it still affects todays city.

Although there is some reference to the film, the tour is mainly based on actual documented history and personal experience.

“ This historically accurate walking tour is a must for those who have seen the film, and those who plan to see it...”
